Purchasing this addon item for my dash followed from investing in the suite of dashboard/glovebox overlays. I wanted some balance of carbon fiber look on the driver's dash side. The improvement in look is more subtle since a large area isn't involved, but it spices up start button zone. The fit was well designed but care does need to exercised in attaching this overlay, just as with other items. As usual, before I removed protective surface from adhesive strips, I tested how the overlay would be positioned to avoid misalignment. Time spent to orient it before firmly pressing down is worth it. I was in such a rush I forgot my default installation rule: use a hair dryer at moderate-low setting to heat up the item gently to make it more pliable and conform more easily to rounded surfaces. It still went OK, but I had to press much more firmly to get curved surface to right of key to adhere. Overall was quite pleased with this cosmetic mod.
Everything I received was excellent quality. I will be adding more.
